The hot weather was incontrovertible and most of the schoolmates have gone home. I importuned my friends,whose parents was fetching them out, to give me a lift so as to curtail my long journey back home and also to shun from the hot weather. Unfortunately, nobody was willing to give me a lift. I had no choice but to repress my anger and start the journey back home. My ultimate aim was to each home as quickly as possible to get a cup of cold drink and lie on the sofa.
